Warm clothes needed: Liberty Women's Shelter families in Jinja
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Liberty Women's Shelter.
🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda178 views
I coordinate donations at Liberty Women's Shelter in Jinja. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Jinja, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Women's Shelter on Tuesday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

Wishing you peace. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
sending good thoughts. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Greetings from London.
Thinking of you and your family, Karanja. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
