Don't let Guadalupe's family go through summer without electricity and water

Guadalupe is behind on electricity and water bills after a reduction in hours and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $150. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $45 first, which I don't have. I live with three children under ten, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $150 goes: • Water arrears: $60 • Reconnection and late fees: $45 • Down payment on a payment plan: $45 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Guadalupe
