Heating shut-off notice: help Gemma pay $100
Help Gemma cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $100. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Gas arrears: $40
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Gemma.
Sure. The biggest one is gas arrears, $40. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
