Khon Kaen
Wanida has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Khon Kaen Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Wanida can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way. Wanida is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Rooting for you. Get well soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Khon Kaen.

wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless!
