Save Mocha: Nevaeh can't afford the emergency vet

Mocha is my dog of thirteen years. On 24 August we rushed to Rochester Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Rochester Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mocha's recovery.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,200
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $470
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $310
