Save Juno: Juliet can't afford the emergency vet
Juno, Juliet's dog, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $300.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria979 views
Juno is my dog of eleven years. On 25 August we rushed to Lagos Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Juno, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Juno is more than a pet - Juno walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $15 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Lagos Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $195
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $70
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $10
I hope life is good to you.
