Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Nikhil in Agra
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Agra?

I'm a school janitor living in Agra. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $910, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Thinking of Agra
Good luck, Nikhil. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
thanks for sharing this. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Bacoor.
Wishing you peace, Nikhil. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Sending good thoughts, Nikhil. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
