Frank lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Dundee Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,200. His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Frank could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $2,200 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $1,550 • Fitting and training sessions: $220 • Delivery and set-up: $170 • First-year servicing plan: $260 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Updates from Ruby

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 60% funded and I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 32% now ($713). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($293 in total) the plan for fitting and training sessions is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
