Idowu lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Badagry Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Idowu could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $100 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $30 • First-year servicing plan: $35 • Fitting and training sessions: $35 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Ronke

Updates from Ronke

  1. Quick update: $10 raised so far (10%). I made the first payment toward delivery and set-up. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 14% funded and I made the first payment toward first-year servicing plan.
