Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Iqra in Hyderabad
The roof at Iqra's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Hyderabad. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $550, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

you're not alone, Iqra. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Nashik
Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't give up. God bless
