Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Daniel in Rio de Janeiro
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Rio de Janeiro?

I'm a single mother of three living in Rio de Janeiro. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,400, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you and your family. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless
Thanks for sharing this, Daniel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out
good luck, Daniel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
Hope things get better soon, Daniel. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings
Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Milan but we're thinking of you. Blessings!
