Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Christian in Caloocan
The roof at Christian's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Caloocan. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $310, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you peace, Christian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best.
Take care. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Brandon this morning. God bless.
Thinking of you, Christian. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
hope it all works out. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best
Hang in there, Christian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Petrópolis.
