Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, San Francisco

We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 207 neighbors in San Francisco. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

best of luck, Silas. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from The Hague.
