Veteran in need: Susana's next mission is stability
Susana served ten years in the medical corps; $2,200 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served ten years in the medical corps and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $2,200.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Essential household items: $440
• Training provider fees: $1,250
• Transport to appointments: $510
Every share and every dollar helps.

thanks for sharing this, Susana. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
Rooting for you. Shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Fresno.
