Feed 235 families each week at the Sunday Shelf in Manila
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Manila is running low just as demand rises; $200 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 235 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Manila market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $200 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $80
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30
• Baby formula and diapers: $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
