Veteran in need: Ssebuliba's next mission is stability
After fourteen years of service, Ssebuliba is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

Amani served fourteen years in the army and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $1,000.
Amani is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Training provider fees: $380
• Housing deposit and first month: $420
• Transport to appointments: $85
• Essential household items: $115
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
