After eight years of service, Marwan is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served eight years in the army and was discharged in 2025 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $4,750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,750 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,900
• Essential household items: $490
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,360
If you're reading this, thank you.

keep going. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Obuasi
Thinking of you and your family. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Jakarta Barat but we're thinking of you.
Take care, Marwan. Shared it with a few friends. God bless.
