After six years of service, Anthony is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served six years in the marines and was discharged in 2025 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $3,000.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,800
• Transport to appointments: $490
• Essential household items: $710
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Anthony
Good news. Because of your gifts ($448 in total) I made the first payment toward transport to appointments. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 10% now ($308). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

Thinking of you and your family, Anthony. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Wishing you peace, Anthony. I hope things turn around soon. God bless
Stay strong, Anthony. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Uberlândia
