Save Daisy: Padam can't afford the emergency vet
Daisy, Padam's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $350.
🇳🇵 Nepal701 views
Daisy is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 26 January we rushed to Dharan Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Dharan Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $270
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $45
• Medication and follow-up visits: $15
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $20
With deep gratitude,
Padam
