Vani's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Gaya
A first-generation student, Vani needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.
🇮🇳 Gaya, Bihar, India970 views
Vani is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Gaya Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has said Vani can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vani has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vani would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Vani isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Gaya Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Outstanding tuition balance: $275
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
