Volunteers wanted: Angel's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Los Angeles: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States320 views
I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Los Angeles for 36 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.
