Valve repair surgery for Sabbir: covering what insurance won't
A scheduled valve repair surgery in November is out of reach without help covering $450 of the cost.

Sabbir was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in August. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $560, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $450 short.
my brother has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since August. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $560 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sabbir struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Sabbir won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $450 goes:
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $300
• Physiotherapy sessions: $100
• Travel and lodging for the family: $50

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Comilla
Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Prayagraj.
