Usha wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Usha, 83, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $300 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 83. After a fall and hip fracture Usha can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Usha desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Usha worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $300 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $60
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $100
• Medication and prescriptions: $140

Sure. The biggest one is hospital bed and mattress rental, $60. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
