Two weekends of roof repair for Tâm, a widowed grandmother in Hồ Chí Minh City
Tâm, a widowed grandmother, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Hồ Chí Minh City.

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Hồ Chí Minh City. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $650, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Tâm. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Praying for you, Tâm. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Hồ Chí Minh City.

Thinking of you and your family, Tâm. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Dallas.
This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
