Fighting cervical cancer: help Bunga afford treatment in Jakarta
Supporting Bunga through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Jakarta Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.
🇮🇩 Indonesia1,020 views
Bunga was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Jakarta Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Bunga is 40, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jakarta Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $450 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $130
• Transport to Jakarta Regional Medical Center: $115
• Household costs while unable to work: $205
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Jakarta.
So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Saint Petersburg
Sending strength, Satria. Get well soon. We're a small family in Patna but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Stay strong, Satria. Shared this with my family. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Bunga?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team, advice is welcome too. Happy to explain more.
wishing you the best, Satria. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Ubud but we're thinking of you.
