Two weekends of roof repair for Satoshi, a school janitor in Kawasaki
The roof at Satoshi's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a school janitor living in Kawasaki. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,950, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Take care, Satoshi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Thinking of you and your family, Satoshi. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We're a small family in Rotterdam but we're thinking of you.
Best of luck. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
You're not alone, Satoshi. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Wish I lived closer to Mumbai so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Kawasaki
You're not alone, Satoshi. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
