Save Rosie: Luna can't afford the emergency vet

A three-legged dog named Rosie needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $2,500 bill the family can't cover.

Rosie is my three-legged dog of two years. On 15 June we rushed to the San Diego Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,500. They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $140 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the San Diego Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rosie's recovery. Where the $2,500 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,400 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $630 • Medication and follow-up visits: $200 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Luna
