Two weekends of roof repair for Ramón, a retired bus driver in Sacramento
The roof at Ramón's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Sacramento. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $5,750, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Best of luck, Ramón. This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 3 people at work.
