Two weekends of roof repair for Dmitry, a home-care aide in Kassel
Could you spare three weekday mornings to help repair a leaking roof in Kassel?

I'm a home-care aide living in Kassel. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,350, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending good thoughts, Dmitry. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
hope things get better soon, Dmitry. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My husband and I read this together. Take care
Sending good thoughts, Dmitry. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless.
You're not alone, Dmitry. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
