Two weekends of roof repair for Dhruv, a disabled veteran in Prayagraj
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Prayagraj?

I'm a disabled veteran living in Prayagraj. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $430, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Port Harcourt donated after I showed her your page.
Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'll check back for the next update
You're not alone, Dhruv. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps
Thinking of you and your family, Dhruv. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Dwarka!
Rooting for you, Dhruv. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier!
