Tamale
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 193 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $600 goes: • Materials: $460 • Permits and inspections: $65 • Safety equipment and signage: $60 • Tools hire and delivery: $15 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Henry

  • Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
