Two weekends of roof repair for Alexandre, a retired bus driver in Santos
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Santos?

I'm a retired bus driver living in Santos. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,150, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
praying for you. Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
Rooting for you, Alexandre. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
