Yanti is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at Bekasi Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has said Yanti can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Yanti has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Yanti would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Yanti isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $270
• Final term tuition: $360
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $30

Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Siliguri
Sending strength, Haris. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Pune.
praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Bekasi.
