I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at the Frankfurt Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,050.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $150
• Final term tuition: $2,700
• Textbooks and materials: $200
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Stefan
It's all in the list in the story. exam and lab fees is the big one at $150, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Take care. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Take care.

Best of luck, Stefan. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Wiesbaden this morning.
Stay strong. Study hard! It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Naivasha.
