Samuel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Montgomery Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,100. The registrar has said Samuel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Samuel has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Samuel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Samuel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Montgomery Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
