Nala's a ruptured cruciate ligament: help with the vet bill

Nala is my German shepherd of six years. On 7 December we rushed to Nagpur Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Nala is more than a pet - Nala walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
