Tuition fund for Revathi: a degree in civil engineering at Howrah Community College
A first-generation student, Revathi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

Revathi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Howrah Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550.
The registrar has said Revathi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Revathi has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Revathi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Revathi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $220
• Final term tuition: $270
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $30

Updates from Pradeep
Good news. Because of your gifts ($139 in total) I made the first payment toward exam and lab fees. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Revathi?
Thank you. If you're in Howrah I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.
Thinking of you, Pradeep. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Jakarta Selatan this morning. God bless.
