Therapy fund for Amani: 10 sessions with a licensed counselor
After years of caregiving, Amani has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $250.

After years of caregiving, Amani has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at the Mbale Counselling Collective cost $15 each.
Amani has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Amani could afford. The therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Amani, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
