Tuition fund for Majid: an electrical engineering diploma at Sheffield University
Majid is two terms away from finishing an electrical engineering diploma but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $3,000.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an electrical engineering diploma at Sheffield University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,000.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Sheffield University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $250
• Textbooks and materials: $340
• Final term tuition: $2,410
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
