Kiara received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A divorce left Kiara short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in August, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $300.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $300 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $35
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• Rent arrears (2 months): $245
Thanks for being kind about this.
