Tuition fund for Lucy: an agriculture degree at Bakersfield University

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Bakersfield University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,400 goes:
โข Exam and lab fees: $270
โข Textbooks and materials: $380
โข Outstanding tuition balance: $2,750
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

sending strength, Lucy. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Alexandria so I could bring a meal
Good luck, Lucy. Good luck with the exams, you've got this.
