My daughter Renata has been accepted for treatment at Coyoacán Transplant Centre in Coyoacán, starting on Tuesday in September. We live 476 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Renata and me. We can contribute $45 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Renata will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from London.

    • hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Take care.

        • hope things get better soon. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
