I served ten years in the medical corps and was discharged in 2023 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $5,200.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.

what exactly is the $5,200 for?
Training provider fees is $2,400 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
