Josephine served six years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with hearing damage and PTSD. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place. The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $4,450. Josephine is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $4,450 goes: • Training provider fees: $2,600 • Housing deposit and first month: $1,000 • Transport to appointments: $360 • Essential household items: $490 Thank you for reading my story.
