Isabella is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at London Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,250.
The registrar has said Isabella can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Isabella has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Isabella would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Isabella isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
