The Union community hall needs a youth football pitch - Nenita's neighborhood project
Volunteers in San Fernando are raising $350 for a youth football pitch at the Union community hall.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 310 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $210
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $70
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
