The Union community hall needs a skate park - Swati's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,500 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,500.
It will serve about 492 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Materials: $1,650
• Permits and inspections: $280
• Safety equipment and signage: $145
• Tools hire and delivery: $425
