The Lotus health centre yard needs a skate park - Devi's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $800 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $800. It will serve about 322 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
