Baobab Park needs a rainwater harvesting system - Travis's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Gold Coast are raising $2,350 for a rainwater harvesting system at Baobab Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,350.
It will serve about 87 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Materials: $1,500
• Permits and inspections: $400
• Safety equipment and signage: $210
• Tools hire and delivery: $240
