The Liberty community hall needs a rainwater harvesting system - Axel's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Southampton are raising $650 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Liberty community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 256 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $210
• Permits and inspections: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $260
